1. The sign you cannot remove. Your character has somehow acquired a mysterious sign that cannot be removed by any means-- until the post is over, or until you get tired of it. Suggestions include, "Will sell soul for [a new laptop]", "Ask me about [that one time in band camp]", "Needs [a hug]."

2. The helper. A robot has come up to you and very politely insisted that you help other people! Whether you have the best disposition for it or the worst, you've been chosen to go around making sure people are happy and comfortable and well-fed… and have possible been given a box of ultra-bland nutritional bars to assist in this task.

3. The clubhouse. Everyone wants to belong, right? There are some tables set up with brochures advertising clubs with bizarre titles like "The Died Multiple Times Club" and the "Experimented On As A Child Club" alongside the more mundane "Handicrafts Club," etc. Which one is your eye drawn to? Which one are you avoiding?

...You fools. Those replicas you sacrificed had the potential to live free from the Score, and you destroyed them for what purpose? To perserve the original world that is doomed to die?

Do you wish to see Auldrant as nothing more than a lifeless husk? Is that the purpose you've decided for yourself, replica?

Of course not. But I don't believe humanity is bound to the Score. It never was, everyone just... followed it, thinking they didn't have any other choice. But they won't anymore. My friends won't let that happen.

You've destroyed any chance that life would survive after the Score. Your friends will inevitably fail and Auldrant will die.

I should've finished you off myself when I had the chance.

And if you had, you still would have been stopped. Dusk... Asch, Jade, Guy... Tear never would have let you succeed.

...It is a pity that they couldn't have seen reason but it's too late for that now. The original world will die and nothing will grow in its place.

...I died too. I was brought back somewhere else, but I'll never see Auldrant again.

Jade didn't, though. And he has a memory from two years after my death; everyone's still there.

Two years time is not enough. At best, you and your friends merely delayed the inevitable.

A place called Aather. The world is being... eaten, I guess, by darkness. The people there, Personae, have a lot of power, but they need us to fight back the darkness. So they're helping us.

And why can't you just... believe in us, a little bit? I know what you were doing was to save the world. But you... you've failed. The only option left is ours. Can't you just hope, for everyone's sake, that we were right, and Auldrant is safe?

Aather...You're delusional.

Hoping for the good of the world does nothing. If you genuinely believe that your friends are capable of overthrowing the Score, then you don't need wishes from me.

I don't need your wishes. I just thought... you'd feel better, if you'd let yourself think something other than that the world is doomed.

And I'm not delusional.

Don't waste your time.

[pause] ...Then tell me more. I'm sure you can make your stories seem at least somewhat feasible.

I know it sounds crazy, okay? But it's just... their world is different than Auldrant; different creatures, monsters, rules... There's no Score at all, for one. And the Personae have a lot of power; I'm not the only person to be brought back to life. They get more power, by making us play games. I guess they uh... use our feelings? And turn it into whatever they need to push back the darkness. We're recovering the world a little bit at a time. But everyone lost their memories when they arrived, part of bringing us there, I guess. So when we play the games, the Personae use some of the power to give us back one of our memories.

These...Personae, don't rely on any Score? If they're drawing on your memories then how can you be sure that they don't draw on the Planet Memory of their world?

I don't think they're uh... drawing on our memories. They just lost them. ...oorr stole them to force us to help them. They use the feelings we have during the games for power.

Anyway if they could use the power of a whole planet memory what would they need us for?

It is possible that their planet has a memory that they simply can't access.

[frowns] Deriving power from emotions...I imagine with your lot at their disposal they'll have a great deal of power on hand. Do you know anything about the darkness they fight against?

Not really, when we arrived there wasn't much left of the world except for a pretty small clearing. Past a certain point the world turns black and white and you can't go there. But now we've pushed it back enough that there's a few miles of space.

And don't pretend you don't have a lot of feelings too. ...Actually, I used to hope you'd show up.

Their efforts have brought some amount of success then.

[tsk] I'm not keen on the idea of being forced into servitude.

Even if it was to save a world?

...I respect the Personae's resolve to save their world at any cost necessary. That doesn't mean I have to be happy about their methods.

Well, I'm not really happy about it either. But I'll still do it. And aside from the occasional jerk Personae, and the occasional really bad game, it's a great place.

And I think it would be good if you had a chance to start your life over, but... well, now it would be pretty dangerous.

You seem far too pleased with your situation.

...Heh. You insult me.

Well I'm not dead, and I'm using my life to help people. So yeah, that's pretty nice.

Asch completely changed by getting his life back in pieces, and by us getting to be brothers before we found out the truth. He's happy now, for the first time in a long time, and not angry at everything. Wouldn't you like to get the chance to start over with Guy, without being divided by the Score this time..?

...I'm not interested in losing myself for the sake of starting over. What's done is done.
